MaxDiff

MaxDiff

Sometimes, for time or resource reasons, you might need to use something simpler and not as demanding as conjoint analysis. MaxDiff (Maximum Difference Scaling) is a way of evaluating how important or preferred a number of alternatives are. Respondents make a number of best and worst choices among many presented alternatives. MaxDiff has the advantage of being very simple for the respondent while at the same time giving very rich information to the researcher.
